A harmonious blend of rich oak, sweet vanilla, and dark chocolate with a smooth, lingering finish.
Havana Club Selección de Maestros represents the pinnacle of Cuban rum craftsmanship, embodying centuries of tradition and expertise. This exceptional spirit is a testament to the dedication of Cuba's most distinguished Maestros Roneros (Rum Masters), who personally select and blend the finest aged rums to create this masterpiece.
Rum Making Process
The creation of Selección de Maestros begins with the finest Cuban sugarcane, which is transformed into molasses. After fermentation, the liquid undergoes multiple distillations in column stills. The rum is then aged in carefully selected white oak barrels, previously used for aging bourbon.
What makes this expression unique is its double-aging process. After initial maturation, the Maestros Roneros select the finest aged rums and blend them. This blend then undergoes a second aging in specially chosen younger oak barrels, intensifying the complexity and character of the final product.
Taste Profile

Territory
Produced in Cuba, specifically at the historic Havana Club distillery in Santa Cruz del Norte. The tropical climate of Cuba plays a crucial role in the aging process, with the warm temperatures accelerating the interaction between the rum and oak barrels, resulting in deeper, more intense flavors.
